In the 6th Exhibition of Masterworks of Contemporary Arts & Crafts in China, the embroidery portrait of "Kofi Annan" from Su Huo Embroidery Garden won a golden prize:"Baihua Cup" of Chinese handcrafts artworks. and an excellence prize with a work named "morning in pine forest" was gotten by Su Huo Embroidery Garden In this exhibition as well.

This exhibition, regarded as the "OSCAR" of Arts & Crafts in China, was held on October 27th of 2005 on World Trade Center of Zhejiang province . Many embroidering superiors countrywide had attended the exhibition. The stir was taken by the showing of the work: "Kofi Annan". In this exhibition, Mr. Li Tieying, honorary president of Chinese Institute of Arts & Crafts, kindly inquired the embroidering process of the work of "Mr. Kofi Annan", spoke highly of it as the exemplar of the embroidery innovation and encouraged Su Huo to create even better works.

Experts from authoritative institutions such as China Arts & Crafts Association, China Art & Crafts Museum and China Central Academy of Arts & Crafts gave high praises to the work of "Kofi Annan" which was made with ramie cloths and threads named "Summer Fabric" of local product of Hunan province. In this embroidery portrait, embroidering skills are so fine that "Kofi Annan" is lifelike.

The ceremony to certificate artcraft master of Hunan Province was held on June 13th of 2008 in Changsha city. Su Huo was elected to be an honorable artcraft master.

In the 20 years celebration of The folk Arts and Crafts Committee of Hunan province, Su Huo won the prize of the great achievement for the folk arts and crafts by the Folk Arts and Crafts Committee of Hunan province and the FIRST prize of outstanding successor of TOP TEN arts and crafts classes of Hunan province by Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association of Hunan province.
